Our mission is to create an enabling environment for girls in schools during their menstrual cycle and to provide access to basic menstrual hygiene products, such as sanitary pads. Despite progress in recent years, social taboos and discrimination towards girls during their periods remain prevalent, causing mental and psychological stress. Furthermore, many girls, particularly those in rural areas, face challenges in obtaining menstrual hygiene products, which can result in their dropping out of school. Our team is committed to raising awareness about proper hygiene and sanitation practices among menstruating girls, and educating non-menstruating students about menstruation through MEHM (Menstrual Hygiene Management) sessions. Our goal is to break taboos, myths, and misconceptions surrounding menstruation and create a healthy and supportive environment for menstruating girls in schools. We aim to achieve this by providing eco-friendly and affordable menstrual hygiene products, accessible through vending machines. Our initiative seeks to improve access to menstrual hygiene products and education for girls in schools, reduce discrimination and taboos surrounding menstruation, and ultimately, help girls continue their education without interruption during their menstrual cycle. In the implementation plan, we will target populations in rural areas with low income, and we expect the initiative to have a significant impact on their well-being and educational attainment. We are confident that our approach will create a long-term positive impact on the lives of girls and women in our community.
